TODAY ONLY: Get The Secret to
My Copywriting Success--FREE
Dear ,
As I regularly remind my A-list readers, there are hundreds of copywriters who are better copywriters than me.
Not only do they have better ideas than I do, but they are far more skilled in punctuation and grammer than I am. (So if you ever see some typos, omitted words, or poor grammer from me, well, you know why.)
And while they may be better writers than I am, I happen to make a whole lot more money than most of them.
You see, while the average copywriter makes about $50,000 a year, I've been able to average more than $500,000 a year. During my best year I grossed over $700,000.
So why is it that better copywriters are making less money than me?
My answer is simple
: I'm a better salesman.
That's been the secret to my success. My ability to sell myself is the reason why I've been able to land the plum assignments with the highest paying publishers.
I mention this not to boast, but simply to let you know that unless you learn how to sell yourself, the BIG copywriting opportunities and big bucks will never open up for you.
Let me repeat that:
If you don't learn how to sell yourself the right way, you'll never break the $100,000 barrier let alone get to $200,000.
The bottom line here is this: There's a ton of business out there that is simply yours for the taking--but only if you know how to take it.
That's the whole reason I've decided to coach up-and-coming copywriters on how to sell themselves.
My motive is honest and sincere: To help you enjoy the same kind of financial success that I've enjoyed over the past 20 years.
If you can spend just five hours with me, I promise I'll do my best to turn you into a $200,000-a-year copywriter, too.

P.S. Do you make any of these mistakes selling yourself as a copywriter?
- Offering your services as a ghostwriter.
You wouldn't pitch Paul McCartney on ghostwriting songs for him, would you? Of course not. When you think that copywriting is really like writing songs-only they come in an an email format-you can begin to see the flaw in this method.
Take it from me-it's not the path making $100,000.
- Assuming that top copywriters would seriously consider sending their overflow work to a stranger. I know many course leaders suggest this, but please think about it this way. Would Ford give its customer list to General Motors? Highly unlikely. Also the wrong path.
-
Sending pitch letters that say how good you are. Or worse, that talk about the benefits of copywriting. The people you are pitching already know the benefits. They just need a good copywriter. And you can't tell them how good you are, you must show them.
They are not sold by you telling them about your "killer sales letters," "cash-sucking copy," or "POWERFUL SALES COPY that rakes in the dough." These people are top-notch professionals. That is not what they want to hear.
- Thinking that delivering on time is a hook.
You may not know this, but the top publishers and direct marketing firms work around the top copywriters' schedule, not vice versa. In fact, many of the A-list writers are always tardy. And I mean always. Yet, the publishers wait because the writer's work sells. Listen, would you push Picasso to deliver his next masterpiece on time? The same thing applies here.
If you are making any of these mistakes, please stop doing them now...and then click the link below to learn a few of the techniques that could turn you into a $200,000-a-year copywriter.
