As the great Gary Bencivenga once told me, you must make your advertising

So that the reader gets something out of it when they read it. So it really becomes more than an ad.
It becomes actionable advice driven forward by captivating storytelling, ensuring you're always providing value from the first word to the call to action.
By creating value based on insight blended, you create a winning formula that's unstoppable.
This is how I was able to sell over a million orders to investment advisories, trading services, success books, and health books—by combining insight and value.
Of
course, I could talk about theory all day.
But if you want to get good at it--I mean really good-- you must learn to execute this in writing.
If you cannot do this, then all the theory in the world is simply no good.

So how do you take that theory and put it down on the page?

Study great copy. Look at the headlines, the leads, the subheads. Memorize the type of verbiage that is used. Emblazon the transitions into your memory.

You will see the available means of persuasion in everything you do and win your readers' minds by argument and emotion.
