28 Reasons Why Your Copy Isn't Converting (And How to Fix It!)

If I've said this once, I've said it a million times: I am an old-school direct response reason-why copywriter.
If you've
never heard the term "reason why" before, it means I am referring to the fact that you must always provide a complete argument to your prospect and give them significant reasons why they should buy.
I've always believed it's all about the argument and the best way to persuade someone is to continue to give them reasons why to
buy.
Those reasons should always be based on your product's features, benefits, proof, data, and an emotional appeal.
If you have read or seen any of my swipe
materials before, you will see that I will hammer home reason after reason after reason why somebody should buy.
The more reasons you provide them, the more proof you provide them, the greater the argument you provide them, the greater chances of them buying--especially when you're selling a high-profit/high-ticket
item.
The fact is, it's a lot easier to sell something for $49 than it is to sell something for $4900. And that means you should always create a high-level complete reason why for people to buy.
You can see that every single one of my emails, landing pages, and video sales letters, whether it's a long letter or a short one, should be a complete sales argument. There should be NO stone unturned in the drive to get your person to "click and buy.”
When I would read the copy to my wife she
would always remark, “You keep repeating yourself.” I would laugh because she was right!
The I would do this is simple:
The more you
hammer home the reasons why, the more likely your prospect pull out their credit card to buy what you are selling.
How many “reasons why” do you put in your copy?
How many proof-points?
If you are not piling on the reasons, then chances are your copy will not convert.
Of course, there is one caveat to this whole thing. The person you are trying to sell has got what you're selling to buy from you.
But none of this will happen unless you continue to hammer home the reasons why…over and over and over again.
