I want to share some thoughts about the
path and journey we embark on in the world of copywriting. It's a journey filled with ups and downs, but it's essential to remember that success doesn't always hinge on being the best writer, per se.
What truly matters is knowing what to write about.
Fact is, the big money is often earned by those who hit the right theme, the right concept, or the right message, rather than simply finding the perfect words.
It's about understanding the needs, desires, and pain points of your audience and crafting your message to resonate with them.
But here's a crucial reminder:
Jobs and opportunities won't just come knocking on your door—you need to be proactive.
You have to seek out those opportunities, approach potential clients or employers,
and put yourself out there. Remember, the most beautifully crafted words won't make an impact if they're hidden away, unseen by the right eyes.
You have to go get the money.
So, keep honing your skills, but also focus on honing your ability to identify the themes and ideas that will truly connect with your audience.
Stay persistent, be proactive, and don't be discouraged by the occasional setback. The
journey might be long, but the destination is worth it.
Wishing you all the best in your copywriting journey!
Warm regards,
Doug D’Anna
