"Unlock the Power of Productivity" - This headline and hook are compelling because they appeal to the reader's
desire to be more productive. The word "unlock" creates a sense of excitement and anticipation.
"The One Thing You're Doing Wrong That's Ruining Your Health" - This headline and hook are effective because they tap into the reader's fear of doing something wrong that could harm their health. It
creates an urgency to read on and find out what the mistake is.
In these examples, the headline targets the internal wants and desires of its target audience.
By engaging your reader's desired outcomes right from the start, the headline captures their attention and encourages them to read further.
All by simply highlighting a problem that the audience faces or an obstacle standing in the way of their desired outcome.
Here are three more examples:
"The Ultimate Guide to Mastering Social Media" - This headline and hook are powerful because it promises to provide the reader with all the information they need to become an expert in social media. The word "ultimate" implies that this guide is comprehensive and thorough.
"The Shocking Truth About [insert topic]" - This headline and hook are compelling because they pique the reader's curiosity about a shocking revelation related to the topic.
"The 5 Secrets to a Successful Relationship" - This headline and hook are effective because it promises to provide the reader with five key insights into a successful relationship. The number "5" is specific and actionable, making it more compelling.
Again, in each case, the copy not only
acknowledges the challenges faced by the audience but also a potential resolution the readers are looking for.
