Why I Don’t Use Appointment Setters to Sell My Copy Coaching Program
Published: Sat, 05/06/23
For the past 12 months, I have received countless random DMs from
“appointment setters” who promise to 10X, 20X or even 1000X my services.
I’m sure many of them are good. But I am not selling widgets.
I am selling Doug D’Anna’s Million Dollar Copywriting Formula which teaches YOU how to become one of the most persuasive
copywriters on the planet.
The same skills I have used to generate over $100 million selling right off the page.
The truth is, if I need an appointment setter to convince you to join my coaching course, then it would show the weakness in my copy.
I'm essentially admitting
that my own copywriting skills aren't good enough to sell my own service.
This is why I don’t use appointment setters.
The fact is, if I can't persuade you to invest in my coaching program through the words on the page, then you should not sign up for my coaching, or anybody else’s for that matter.
This is why the only - and I repeat - the only sales tool I use for my coaching service is my
sales page, my emails, my DMs, and my Tweets.
This is why I don’t use phone closers, and why you just can’t “jump on a call with me.”
BOTTOM LINE
If I have not thoroughly convinced you that I can help you take your copywriting skills to the next level and that the 38 years of knowledge I can impart to you
through my persuasive ability, then you should not sign up.
Nor should you sign up for anyone else’s coaching either.
They would then be admitting that their copy is simply not strong enough to move you to join their course.
As a seasoned direct response copywriter, Doug has created hundreds of profitable direct mail packages, emails, and video sales letters for the world's largest specialized information publishers—generating over $100 million in direct sales.
