If the most important part of an advertisement is your headline, then the second most important part is your transitions.
Here's why:
They take you from the headline...through the body copy … to the call-to-action.
Without effective and persuasive transitions, your reader gets lost. With them, your reader will ultimately make a swan dive to the order form.
No other outcome is possible.
The reason is simple. Transitions are simply the stepping stones you use to walk your reader down to the order form.
Sadly, many writers ignore transitions.
As a result, their copy is often confusing or cluttered--never getting to the point they are trying to make.
That’s why the reader gets lost and moves off the page and to something more important.
That's why it's so important to understand, study, and emulate these persuasive transitions in order to write more effective copy.
